Sei's Ascent: Revolutionizing Blockchain with EVM, Giga, and Bullish Market Momentum

Technical Evolution and Performance Benchmarks

As of June 2025, the Sei blockchain is demonstrating notable advancements that indicate a strategy focused on both aggressive expansion and practical adoption within the industry. Technically, Sei is transitioning toward an EVM-exclusive architecture, phasing out CosmWasm to streamline development for the Ethereum Virtual Machine ecosystem. The introduction of the “Giga” parallel execution engine is particularly significant—reportedly capable of processing over 5 billion transactions per second with finality achieved in under 400 milliseconds, marking a substantial leap in throughput and efficiency.

Market Performance and Institutional Interest

Market indicators reflect this trajectory. SEI has shown bullish momentum, with trading volumes increasing and daily active addresses rising by 15% to reach approximately 45,000. The platform’s market capitalization has surpassed $1 billion, bolstered in part by Wyoming’s potential adoption of Sei for its WYST stablecoin initiative.

Ecosystem Growth and Interoperability

Sei is also prioritizing developer engagement, allocating $1 million to support innovation in AI and DeFi. From an interoperability standpoint, the Solaxy Testnet Bridge is live, enabling bridging with SOL, while Ethereum interoperability is forthcoming. Collectively, these developments position Sei as a competitive, high-throughput Layer 1 blockchain that is actively pursuing institutional relevance and real-world adoption.

SEIUSD's Bullish Momentum: Charting a Course Towards Substantial Gains

SEIUSD performed well in the past two days and surged more than 70% .

Any daily close above $0.50 confirms further bullishness.

The pair holds well above the short-term (34 and 55 EMA) and long-term moving average. It hit a high of $0.2729 and is currently trading around $0.2713.

The bullish invalidation can happen if the pair closes below $0.10. On the lower side, the near-term support is $0.35. Any break below target $0.20/$0.10.

The immediate resistance stands at around $0.30. Any breach above confirms bullish continuation. A jump to $0.50/$0.55 (161.8% fib)/$0.6850 is possible. A surge past $0.76 will take it to $1.

It is good to buy on dips around $0.25 with SL around $0.10 for TP of $0.55/$0.75.
